When two large shipbuilding companies were having trouble finding experienced welders at their home site of Mobile, Alabama, the team members at HKA Enterprises didn’t just put themselves in the customers’ shoes; they put boots on the ground. The company rented a testing facility in Mobile and hired an experienced welder who had worked for one of the companies and understood what was required of a new hire.
