Hey Now, He’s an All-Star!
All Star Glass shines through leader’s heart and craftsmanship

Owner Billy Glover leads a high-performing team of about 30 employees who work in offices in Colorado and Nevada.

At this sleek Les Schwab Tire Center in Broomfield, CO, All Star Glass installed front-set storefront windows, storefront doors and brake-metal-wrapped beams.
They say first impressions are everything. When you meet a man like Billy Glover, you quickly discern that his expertise in the glazing industry is fueled by his passion for quality craftmanship. Spend just a few minutes with Billy, who loves nothing more than to brag about his hardworking employees at All Star Glass, and you realize the company owner genuinely values the loyal, talented workforce that makes the business shine.
And when you pour your heart into your staff the way Billy does, you cultivate a team-oriented culture of respect, dedication and integrity—and customers see and appreciate that.
Become What You Respect…
Billy’s enthusiasm for the world of construction was first kindled during his youth. He was born in California and grew up in a military family, his father’s career in the Army taking the family to places such as Texas, Ohio, Hawaii and Germany. Eventually, the Glovers put down roots in Colorado, where Billy’s father opened a residential general contracting firm.
Seeing someone he greatly admired working so diligently, day in and day out, motivated Billy to emulate the same strong work ethic later in life. “I learned a lot from my dad growing up. He taught me to work hard and earn everything you get,” Billy says.
After high school, Billy tried his hand at various trades, from building patio covers to roofing houses. When his older brother, Jesse, encouraged him to apply for a job at a glass installation company where he was working, Billy figured, why not? Before long, he was hooked on the glazing profession and knew this was the ideal career for him.
Billy says the mentorship of Everett Young, a seasoned glazier, was crucial to helping him excel in this highly specialized industry. “He’s one of my best friends now,” Billy says. “He taught me a lot about the glazing world, helping me to hone my product knowledge and installation skills.” Everett is now retired, but still makes time to visit with Billy often.
…and Reflect What You Desire
After spending about nine years in the glazing industry, Billy felt he had acquired the necessary skills, experience and connections to go into business for himself. It was a risky move—at the time he had a wife and two young children, ages 6 and 2, to provide for. But his integrity and intrinsic desire to build a business that demonstrated respect for its employees and customers finally pushed him to take the plunge. With support from his spouse, Savanna, Billy launched All Star Glass. “I opened the business in 2011 and I haven’t looked back,” he says with pride.
The glazing operation started out in the couple’s home office. Savanna would assist with answering the phones while Billy performed field installations and built relationships with homeowners, contractors and others. Eventually, work picked up as his company’s reputation for high-quality glass installation services grew. In 2014, All Star Glass relocated to its current headquarters in Sheridan, Colorado, a small community situated in the southwest portion of the Denver metro area.
Success for 10 Years…and Counting
Today, a decade after it was formed, All Star Glass is continuing to grow and expand. An additional branch office opened in early 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada, to meet the glazing needs of customers in that flourishing region, according to Billy.
The company specializes in installing, repairing and replacing windows and doors on both residential and commercial properties. It has worked on facilities for many well-recognized brands, including a Smucker’s food manufacturing plant and multiple Starbucks coffeehouses and Maverik fuel stations, as well as governmental contracts for the state of Colorado, Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado, and others.
All Star Glass has many signature projects. At the Edgewater Public Market in Edgewater, Colorado, for example, the team was contracted by Maxwell Builders to perform interior demolition services throughout the retail venue and install various door and window systems, including metal products manufactured by All Star Aluminum, a sister company.
The glazing contractor also participated in the 9,000-square-foot renovation of a two-story office building located on Old South Gaylord Street, in Denver’s iconic Washington Park neighborhood. On this project for Kahn Construction Corporation, crews provided exterior storefront glass and doors; interior storefront glass complete with muntin bars for aesthetics; and doors for the upstairs and downstairs offices.
One of its largest jobs—at a seven-story apartment complex in the Sloan Lake neighborhood in Denver—wrapped up in November 2020.
“We did all the windows, which were aluminum and glass, as well as curtainwall systems on the main floor and upstairs on the seventh floor, storefront windows on the corner exteriors of the building and patio sliding doors, plus much more,” Billy says. He continues, “There were some ups and down with this project due to supplier issues, weather-related delays, openings not being ready on time, and challenges caused by the pandemic. But at the end of the day this unique building turned out really awesome, thanks in part to the above-and-beyond efforts of our Project Manager, Tony Bair, and the rest of the All Star Glass crew.”
“Our trade partners feel at ease and comfortable around our employees because they trust them to be skilled, knowledgeable professionals who always aim to get the job done right.” Billy Glover, Founder and Owner, All Star Glass / All Star Aluminum
Capable and Knowledgeable
The staff’s expertise is quite diverse. Team members frequently utilize products from manufacturers such as Kawneer, Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (a CRH company) and Tubelight Inc.
In commercial applications, the company works with storefront windows and entrances, curtainwall systems, glass doors, cubicles and partitions, security glass and various other products. In residential settings, crews also display a strong knowledge of working with tub and shower enclosures/doors, tabletops and shelving units, sliding-glass doors, skylights, backsplashes, decorative glass, mirrors and much more.
“All Star Glass is a one-stop shop for all commercial and residential glass needs. We take pride in providing the best services and support, from start to finish, to ensure that customers receive the best results. We also offer 24-hour emergency board-up services to protect damaged properties,” Billy says. Additionally, All Star Glass often partners on projects with All Star Aluminum, which manufactures metal products such as metal-framed windows and metal doors.
“Our ability to manufacture our own metal doors and window frames can reduce lead times, saving clients valuable time and money,” Billy says. “We have a big table saw that cuts the metal with efficiency and precision, and a CNC machine that mills out all the door rails. We can sell metal directly to customers, too.”
All Star Glass typically keeps a lot of materials in stock, particularly storefront window materials and doors, at its Denver location—a 16,000-square-foot industrial building with offices at one end and fabrication/storage space at the other. Having inventory readily available further ensures fast turnaround times on projects.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
To keep up with its project load today, All Star Glass relies on a talented team of about 30 employees—including Billy’s younger brother, Rodger Glover, and Mark Gray, their uncle.
“I hired them about eight years ago and they’ve stuck with me ever since,” Billy says. “My brother is an installer and our lead glazier; he has a wealth of experience and talent, and serves as a mentor to many of the younger crew members who want to become expert glaziers. My uncle is our quality-control person who inspects products at the shop and works in the field also, checking in during and after jobs to make sure everything is going as planned.”
Billy lists several other valuable personnel, including Mitch Bernal, an Estimator and Project Manager who has worked at All Star Glass since 2016. “He’s got a great attitude and does a lot around here, including overseeing our safety meetings,” he says.
With a great group of trusted employees at his side today, Billy has the freedom to dedicate more time to strengthening relationships with trade partners. The hands-on business owner also still enjoys overseeing jobs and working alongside the field crews whenever possible.
Of all his responsibilities, the opportunity to mentor new hires and up-and-coming employees is one of his favorite roles. “I hand-picked this team, and they work their butts off!” he says, smiling. “They are also lighthearted and know how to have fun. Our trade partners feel at ease and comfortable around our employees because they trust them to be skilled, knowledgeable professionals who always aim to get the job done right.”
A Leader Who’s All Heart
According to Billy, this tight-knit team mentality is supported by a positive workplace atmosphere. “We’re just like a big family,” he says, “and we do all sorts of things together!”
To show appreciation for his employees, he likes to take them on Topgolf outings and host activities such as annual Christmas parties (last year’s event featured an exciting raffle drawing and cornhole tournament). He even arranges for meals to be catered in, or for food trucks to stop by—a welcome treat on long, challenging days! His company also has its own softball team as well as a batting cage set up in the Colorado office where the staff can have fun and unwind after work.
“I like knowing that my team members are treated well and enjoy working here,” Billy says. “I want to be someone they can trust to listen to them, value them and show them respect.”
These feelings of care and thoughtfulness extend to the community as well. The company leader has been known to sponsor local sports teams, “adopt” families for Christmas and make donations to charitable organizations such as Toys for Tots.
What exactly inspires Billy to treat people the way he does? “I have a big heart and I care for people,” he says simply. “I got my big heart from my dad.” Like his father, Billy now has three sons of his own—Ethan (15), Landon (11) and Bentley (6). He hopes to instill the same positive moral values in his own children.
As he looks to the future, Billy says he would love to continue growing the business and hire more people, including younger individuals who would benefit most from his team’s diligent training and mentorship.
Ultimately, he says, it’s customer satisfaction that allows a business to truly thrive. He believes his philosophy of supporting employees enables him to achieve this goal, and will allow All Star Glass to continue delivering outstanding services for many more years to come.
