Bringing Designs to Life
Arktek3D receives rave reviews for being prompt,
professional and reasonably priced

The Arktek3D team created this stunning shopping mall visual for an architect in New York.

Anvi Dave, CEO of Arktek3D, a global firm that offers multidimensional architectural renderings as well as video walkthroughs and interactive animations. She launched the business in partnership with her husband, Dev Thakkar, who serves as President.
Bringing architectural design concepts to life in an immersive, multidimensional visual format is the core of what Arktek3D delivers to its global clientele. From the United States to Canada to the Middle East to Australia, the company’s photorealistic portrayals of building interiors and exteriors, floor plans, site plans, aerials and animations are on display in the work portfolios of builders, architects, engineers, interior designers, real estate companies and developers. Even homeowners rely on Arktek3D’s services when building, renovating or remodeling their properties.
Since its launch in 2015, Arktek3D has made a name for itself by delivering pristine 2D/3D architectural renderings and animated videos and walkthroughs of mostly residential and commercial sites, and even a few industrial properties. However, the firm’s responsiveness, professionalism and affordable pricing are other fundamental reasons it enjoys much repeat business and a steady stream of referrals.
“While we have completed many successful projects across the world, approximately 80-90% of our work is in the United States,” says Dev Thakkar, President of Arktek3D, which is headquartered in St. Johns, Florida, and has branch offices in Houston, Texas, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He proudly shares how his company has a strong online presence, having earned dozens of five-star Google reviews from some very satisfied customers, and boasts an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. “We provide very good-quality products compared to the competition,” he shares, and further explains how his team’s average three-to-five-day turnaround time is exceptional compared to other companies, which can take weeks to produce these types of products.
When perusing Arktek3D’s positive online reviews, one quickly notices a pattern: people are impressed with the company’s ability to provide both quality work and first-class customer service. Last year, for example, a construction professional by the name of Bruce Benton raved about his experience: “Arktek3D is a top-shelf firm. In over $2 billion in commercial development and construction projects in 36 states from California to New York to Florida, I haven’t met a better company to work with. Dev and his team are as responsive and dedicated to quality and customer service as any design consultant that I have ever engaged.”
Experts in Visual Design
Thakkar has built the business in partnership with his wife, Anvi Dave, who serves as CEO. The couple’s unique skill sets provide a harmonious balance for running the operation. Thakkar, who has a professional background in information technology and a master’s degree in business administration, spearheads the development of marketing strategies for his firm and spends much of his time building relationships with new and prospective clients. He credits his wife with being an essential part of this family-owned operation as she supports the business with her artistic abilities and wealth of knowledge in architectural software design and website design.
Arktek3D is a small firm with around 25-30 employees, plus contract workers who provide additional support as needed. Despite its size, Arktek3D operates like clockwork in pushing out high-quality product quickly, and on demand—the team is adept at fielding last-minute projects with the same thoroughness and speed as any other request. The key to this prompt service is an efficient, 24/7 production process. Modeling work is handled by employees in the U.S., and then the product is passed along to team members in Dubai, who handle lighting and other artistic enhancements while their stateside colleagues are off the clock. This tag-team approach keeps work moving steadily along, culminating with thorough quality-control checks by the staff in Houston before the final product is presented to the client.
Besides efficiency, this team possesses well-rounded experience in creating custom visuals for a variety of properties. “We do all kinds of jobs,” Thakkar says. “We’ve done residential, commercial, schools, government buildings, sports complexes, etc. We’ve even done a few industrial plants, and would love to do more of those if we could.”
While Arktek3D offers two-dimensional rendering services, its capabilities in three-dimensional design is truly where team members shine in skill and proficiency. They utilize a range of advanced technologies to provide architectural illustrations, including AutoCAD, 3ds Max and MicroStation and other computer-aided design software as well as building information modeling (BIM) solutions like Revit.
According to Thakkar, 3D renderings are beneficial for both existing properties and future developments. For instance, these ultrarealistic visuals show unique interior and exterior features—including distinguishing details such as textures, colors and types of building materials—which can be a valuable marketing tool for clients.
Also, at the beginning stages of a project, the use of highly detailed renderings can improve communication between property owners and designers by making various concepts and options easier to visualize and understand. This, in turn, boosts decision-making processes and increases the likelihood of achieving a client’s desired vision—or even enhancing it. A 3D illustration can even help with mitigating potential structural or design issues prior to construction, which saves time, resources and, most importantly, prevents unnecessary stress.
The firm’s 3D video walkthroughs and interactive animations are other popular products that augment decision-making processes. These are essentially 3D renderings in motion, explains Thakkar, that provide immersive and engaging experiences. “These products give live experiences through augmented reality, which is very appealing to today’s consumers because they can look around and see how a space will look after it is built,” he explains. He points to one of his team’s recent achievements—creating video walkthroughs of dwellings in a master-planned community for one of Florida’s largest homebuilders. “The client was really happy with our work, and the videos helped tremendously in driving the sales of those properties,” Thakkar shares. “Also, the client saved quite a bit of money and time by using these videos to market the properties instead of creating model homes.”
Personal Attention for Every Project
Thakkar says his clients appreciate how seriously he takes each project, making himself available at all hours of the day to address inquiries and ensure all expectations are met. Whether it’s a commercial property developer who needs a rendering for permitting purposes, or a young family seeking to build their dreamhouse, Thakkar says these are important, life-changing projects that deserve personal attention so that everyone is happy with the end result.
“I have now worked with Arktek on two different projects and have been highly satisfied with both,” shares East Coast-based real estate agent Elizabeth Harpin. “The first project was quite large, for a 3D community video including seven-plus house plan renderings and amenities like a pool, tennis courts, beach, etc., and Arktek was able to accurately portray everything the way we wanted. The most recent project was on a smaller scale and involved an exterior house plan rendering and community rendering. In both instance, Dev and his team were very patient as we requested many rounds of edits. Dev often checked in with me and/or sent proofs on weekends, evenings and even holidays to keep the project moving forward. I am confident that Arktek will be able to fulfill any rendering services we need in the future, and for a reasonable price.”
Another testimonial further demonstrates how Arktek3D’s attentiveness provides customers with refreshingly pleasant experiences. “Amazing work for renderings of a custom home being built in Winter Park, Florida,” commented Justin Pekarek of Stockworth Realty Group in an online review last year. “They were fast, attentive, worked with me on changes of the design, and we are very happy with the finished product. This will help sell the home before it even gets built!”
A Creative Outlet for Community
Besides its work with scores of developers, builders and architects worldwide, including many large and prominent firms, the team at Arktek3D is proud to work with those seeking funding for local community-based projects. Thakkar shares an example of a woman from a nonprofit organization who wanted to create a residential community for disabled people.
“She didn’t have any blueprints to start with,” he recalls. “She drew a picture on a piece of paper, and asked me to create a nice video walkthrough that she wanted to use to get crowdfunding for the project. She was really happy with the one-minute video we created and, after posting it online, she was able to obtain the crowdfunding for her vision.” He adds, “I am also so grateful that she gave us the opportunity to create such a project to help the community. It was a really good project.”
Arktek3D has also been entrusted with work for the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) and other industry organizations. Thakkar says, “NEFBA recently asked us to create a rendering for a new commercial building. Everyone was so happy with the results, including all the builders and architects associated with that project. I am very proud of my team’s efforts.”
As Arktek3D continues to build rapport with clients in virtually every building market, Thakkar and his team plan to use their creative talents in other unique ways to support projects that benefit local citizens as well as the greater construction community.
